William Barry Nolan, 27 of Winnebago departed this life too soon on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 in his home. Born January 1, 1983, son of William and Bobbie Nolan. Barry was a 2001 graduate of East High. He was an avid poker player and history buff. Barry enjoyed painting cars, and worked side by side with his father in the family business, B & B Auto Body. He especially loved Cadillacs, dancing and playing poker with his friends. Survived by his parents; siblings Craig (Megan) Nolan, and their baby, Drake is due in July; of Ft. Meade, MD, Stephanie Nolan of Rockford; grandmothers, Virginia Tyler of Rockford, Donna Myers of Rockford; grandfathers, Frank (Judy) Nolan of North Carolina, James Dale of Florida; many Aunts and Uncles; and special friends, Brenan and EC.
A Celebration of Barry's Life will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 4 pm at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Road, Rockford, Pastor Doug Thiesen, Officiant. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
