William John Clark, 67, of Rockford died on September 4, 2016 in his home. Born on August 25, 1949 in DeKalb. Son of George William John and Dorothy Margaret (Janicke) Clark. William was employed for over 30 years at Essex Manufacturing. He was an excellent cook, kept a pristine home and was the best dad in the world. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time in his garden, and outdoors. Survived by his children, Linda (David White) Strimmel, Robert (fiancée Pamela Purl) Clark Sr. all of Rockford, Billy Clark Sr. of New Port Richie, FL; grandchildren, Sarah Orsborn, Paul Beck, Grace Clark, Robert Clark Jr., David Clark, Billy Clark Jr., Cameron Clark, Dylon Clark; great-granddaughter, Michaela Freeman; sisters, Theresa Clark and Silvia Clark. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Tommy and Georgia Clark. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
