Our Angel Went to Heaven
William "Little Billy" Markus Van Natta Jr., 4, of Loves Park joined his Grandma Karen in Heaven on Friday, July 23, 2010. Billy was born on July 4, 2006 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Son of William and Tara Van Natta of Loves Park. Billy was an incredibly happy baby and toddler, who brought great joy to his entire family. He loved clapping to music, watching bright lights and enjoyed the color red. He dropped everything whenever the Sponge Bob Square Pants theme song came on the television. He adored spending time with his great-grandpa, who called Billy his little compadre. Billy is survived by his loving parents; siblings, Chase, Zachary, Brody and Tiara Van Natta; Grandmother, Diane (Doug) Almond of Roscoe; Grandfather, Raymond Van Natta of Machesney Park; special great grandfather, Merle Dubs of Loves Park, Aunts, Glynis (Brad) Arabia, Rae Anne Bartram, Melody (Jeff) Parisot, Corina Shipley all of Machesney Park; Uncle Raymond Snider; 10 cousins; and Special Uncle, Mark Mussigman of Rockford. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen Campbell; and great grandmother Joan Snider.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 6 pm at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 South Alpine Rd. Rockford, with visitation from 4 pm until the time of the service; Officiant Rev. Brent Dahlseng. Memorials may be made to the family in Billy's name at any Alpine Bank branch.
