Wanda Mae Ames, 90, of Rockford died on October 30, 2012 in River Bluff Nursing Home. She was born on July 1, 1922 in Sparta, WI, daughter of Roy and Clara (Ziegler) Woodliff. She was united in marriage to Leith Ames. Survived by her children, Curtis (Karen) Ames, Dennis Ames, Vicki (Bill) King, Linda (Mike) Sandeen, Jill (Jesse) Leigh, Jack Ames; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother Lynn "Woody" Woodliff. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Rockford Seventh-day Adventist Church, 325 N. Alpine Rd. Rockford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alpine Christian School.
