Vicky C. Fisher, 64, of Rockford died on June 13, 2015 at Serenity Hospice in Oregon. Born November 10, 1950 in Rockford, daughter of Eleanor and Morris Holeton Sr. Graduate of Winnebago High School. Vicky had a great interest in writing, and had poems and stories published. She also loved horses. Survived by son, Jeremy Davis of Kansas City, MO; brother Ruell (Millie) Holeton of Independence, VA; 11 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son, Cpl. Todd Davis who was killed on January 9, 2008 in Iraq; husband, Edward Davis; parents, Eleanor and Morris Sr.; and brothers, Charles, Roger, and Morris Holeton Jr. Vicky battled ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) for many years, and elected to donate her body to science to further medical research.
