Tristan Tyler Murphy, 23, of Rockford died on June 23, 2015. Born on March 31, 1992 in Rockford, son of Wilson Murphy and Connie Mangrum. United in Marriage to Heather Polkowski on October 29, 2014. Tristan was a loving and devoted husband and father, and wonderful son. He loved his kids unconditionally, and was looking forward to the birth of his son. Survived by his wife, Heather; children, Anaya Murphy and Tristan Murphy Jr. (due in September); step-son, Isaiah Sanders; mother, Connie Mangrum; siblings, Para, Julio, Aamed, Tiffany and Calvin; aunts, Barbara (Willie), Jeri; uncles, Curtis (Vickie) and Rickey; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Kentavia, Faizon, Alyssa, Ayana, and Quazanika; and special friends Little Will and Joe. Preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents and uncle Charles Mangrum. Celebration of Life Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford. Memorial visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev.
