Timothy R. Bunch, 44, of Loves Park died on January 9, 2023, from a myocardial infarction. Born October 12, 1978 in Rockford; son of Linda Ward. Graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1996. Tim was employed as a driver at Straight Shot Express. He loved spending time with his family and friends and shooting with his brother-in-law. He was warm, friendly, and outgoing and loved making people laugh. Survived by his mother, Linda Ward; long-time girlfriend, Michelle Thompson; sister, Angie (Curt) Didier; nieces, Amber and Ashley Belongia; great-niece, Miya Rae; several aunts, uncles, cousins; girlfriend Michelle's family, including her mother, Genevieve Thompson; Michelle's sisters, Stacey Thompson, Kathy Gilland; and Michelle's niece Jessi Ann. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Max and Pauline Ward; uncle, Ken Ward and dogs, Riley, Jade and Benson. Memorial visitation on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 4 pm to 6 pm followed by a celebration of life at 6 pm at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford.
