Thomas Michael Kossow, 8, of Rockford, went to be with his heavenly father on September 10, 2013 at 2:13 a.m. He was born on February 20, 2005, in Rockford, son of Michael Kossow. Thomas was in the 3rd grade at McIntosh Elementary. His sunny smile and boisterous laugh will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his father; siblings, Heather (Jimmy) Lancaste, Tammy (Nick) Rowe, Amber Kossow, Jay George Jr., Robert George, Kaitlyn Kossow; grandparents, Sara (Allen) Seagren, Jerrei Campbell; Aunts, Jennifer (Bill) Farley, Kelly (Jack) Gallant, Kathy Kossow, Bobby (Mohamed) Zamzam, Tabitha (Steve) Craigo; special cousin, Misty (Ryan) Halterman-Ahrens; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 2001 N. Alpine Rd. Rev. Kenneth Krause will officiate. Visitation from 3 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Thomas' family for a fund to be established. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
