Susan Fox, 64, of Utica, IL died July 17, 2014 at 5:45 p.m. at SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL with her husband of 31 years, James, by her side. Susan was born on June 18, 1950 in Chattanooga, TN. Daughter of JV and Louise (Boyd) Aaron. United in Marriage to James Fox on July 1, 1983. Susan and Jim met at work in 1978 on the construction site of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Tennessee. She always referred to him as "Fox", both directly and in conversation with others. Susan was an avid reader and loved taking care of her pets, which included Pugs and Persian cats. Survived by her husband, James of Utica, daughter, Wendy (George) Greynolds of Ringgold, GA; grandson, Alex Greynolds of Ringgold, GA; sister, Connie Breedwell; nieces, Dawn Scoggins and Danielle (Chris) Heckman all of Chattanooga, TN; uncle, William (Betty) Aaron of Ooltewah, TN. Preceded in death by her parents and maternal grandparents, Paul and Belle Boyd. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Burgess Funeral Home, 208 W. Church Street, Utica, IL. Memorial Visitation at 2 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation rites have been accorded.
