Sharon Joyce White, 79, of Shirland died September 9, 2021. Born November 18, 1941 in Rockford; daughter of Joe and Lois (Jacobson) Paulick. Graduate of Harlem High School class of 1959. United in marriage to Clyde White on February 20, 1960 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Rockford. In her younger years, Sharon played softball. She loved attending her card club and bowling. She was a loving and devoted wife to her beloved husband of almost 61 years. Sharon truly believed that the most important thing she accomplished in her life was raising her four children. Her treasured children remember her as a devoted and loving mother. Sharon's grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy. She is missed by her entire family. Survived by her husband; children, Jacqueline Maulana, Kathleen White-Wright, Michelle White-Hayes, Curtis (Andrea) White; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlanne (Don) Bodach, Pauline Larson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Jim Larson. Private graveside service at Shirland Cemetery. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
