Sarah "Tanya" Shelton was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend to many. She departed this earthly life November 2, 2023 at age 57. She was born in Chester, PA, to Joseph and Lydia (Ginyard) Shelton on July 5, 1966. She is a graduate of Chester High School. Sarah was an amazing cook, she loved gathering her family for holiday meals, cook outs and gatherings. It was important to her to bring her family together, to help her kids and grandkids and to shower everyone in her world with love. Sarah enjoyed watching fireworks shows, an activity that started early in her life, due to her July 5th birthday. Also, she enjoyed swimming laps and working out at the YMCA. Memories of her will be everlasting as she is survived by her children; Warren Santone, Tania Stewart, Tiyana Stewart, Tawana Stewart, Johntaya Shelton, Tahjanay Shelton. Her grandchildren: Daniel, Kayla, Mason, Nyla, Cartez, Juelz, Jah'Seh, Ajah, Zuri, King, Drikiah, Drake, Antonio, Blaze, Sa'Maraiya, Kobe, Carmello, Azia, Ni'Moni, Ni'Ajah; mother, Lydia Shelton; siblings, Joanne Stewart, Connie Brown, Shirley Stewart Carter, Karen Anderson, Bernadette Stewart, Maria Freeman, Pansy Twyman, Charles Shelton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family and friends. Preceded in death by her father; Joseph Shelton, brother; James R. Shelton, son; Drake Stewart, son-in-law; Cartez Daniels, granddaughters; Samiya Shelton and Sanai Daniels.
