Ruth Kay Lantz, 59, went home to the Lord on Friday, June 22, 2012 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Kay was born on June 19, 1953, the daughter of Hubert and Lily Mae (Fultz) Beair in Richland Center, WI. She was united in marriage to Charles S. Lantz on September 23, 1979 in Rockford. She was retired from Pridom Liquors which she co-owned with her husband. Survived by her husband, Charles; children Margaret Ann (Brian) Sears, Logansport, IN, Michael Lantz, Marla (Eric) Wilson and Ray Lantz, all of Rockford; grandchildren Olivia Sears, Damon Lantz, Ashly Meierdirk, Chad Lantz, Allison Wilson and Gaven Metcalf; siblings, Mike (Colleen) Beair, Rockford, Ray (Connie) Beair, WI, Tommy (Anetia) Beair and Don (Mary) Beair, both of KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM in St. Bridget Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
