Ruth Marie Hieb, 82, of Rockford died on May 9, 2018. Born on March 10, 1936 in Peoria, daughter of Frederick and Rose (Schwenk) Michael. Graduate of Metmora High School. United in marriage to Jack Hieb on February 14, 1959. Survived by her husband; sons, Brad (Donna) Hieb of Machesney Park, AJ Hieb of Belvidere; grandchildren, Jeff Hieb and Brittany (Drew) Plunkett, Jessie Keller, Brianna Keller; step-grandchildren, Toshia Huble, Amanda Huble, Brittany (Martell) English; great-grandchildren, Marley Plunkett, Samara Gray, Julian Atkinson, Jericho Kalen, Jaylynn Aldana; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and sisters and great-granddaughter, Jayleigh Atkinson. Cremation rites will be accorded. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
