Ronald Gene Jeneliunas, 62 of Rockford died suddenly on July 14, 2009 in Tennessee on his way home from Florida, where he celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Phyllis by his side. Born on December 19, 1946 in Rockford, son of Peter and Jennie (Yuskas) Jeneliunas. Served in the US Army. United in marriage to Phyllis Rauch on June 23, 1984 in Rockford. Ron was employed by the Rockford Public School System as a bus driver. Prior to working as a bus driver, he was a machinist at several local companies. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Peter Jeneliunas of Rockford, Lori (Benny) Tyndall of North Carolina, Cari (Ed) Adams of Rockford; step-children, Julie (Mark) Chamberlain of Roscoe, Jammie Keen of Rockford; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Arlene Gorham of Rockford, and Sandra Jeneliunas of San Francisco. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ron loved his job as a bus driver. He couldn't wait to see the kids each day. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching old western movies and working in his yard. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11 am at Heartland Community Church 1280 South Alpine Rockford. Visitation from 9 am until the time of the service. Rev. Dr. Ron C.
