Roger L. Cloyd, 61, of Rockford died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 28, 2013. He was born on October 31, 1952. Survived by life partner, Virginia Cloyd; daughters, Korie (Paul) White, Samantha Clarke, Jodi Honda, and adopted daughter, Tiffinie (Brian) Rydholm all of Rockford; grandchildren, Jessica "Jess" White, Paul "Paulie" White Jr., Milik "Leak" White, Margaret "Maggie" White, and brother Robert (Rhonda) Cloyd of Rockford. Preceded in death by his son, Roger Cloyd. Memorial Visitation on Monday December 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 N 1st St, Rockford. Roger was the recipient of a double lung transplant, and his family is thankful to the donor family for the additional two years of time they were able to spend with him, as well as the UW Madison lung transplant team, the cardio pulmonary staff, Maria Rose RN, Heartland Hospice and all the other doctors, nurses CNA's that helped care for him.
