Roberta (Bert/Bobbie) was born in Vincennes, Indiana to Frances Glennabell Bacher and Frank E. Bacher.

Her first love was her animals or "critters" as she called them. She also loved her profession as an LPN and taking care of her patients. She continued to try to teach healthcare workers at the nursing home where she resided the last 8 months of her life.

Roberta is survived by her siblings, David (Susan) Bacher, Florida; John (Cindy) Bacher, Rockford; and Karen Bacher, Las Vegas. Also, nieces and nephews, Mark, Jennifer, Jeff, and Brittany and several great nieces and nephews who were special to her.

Roberta was predeceased by her mother and father, grandparents Harry and May Wheeler and Frank and Dolly Bacher. Also, her aunts and uncles, Betty and Edward Wheeler, Jim and Norma Bacher and Pat and Jack Anderson. Special mention to close friends, Andrea Swanson, Peg Paquette and Rose and Jim Orbison.

Bert's message to all: Don't cry over me. I am on to better things and greater days. Death has given way to victory. I will save you all a place at the table. Hugs and love to all.

At her request, a private family memorial service will take place.
