Roberta A. McNames, 77, of Baraboo, WI died on January 22, 2016 in St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. Born on March 22, 1938 in Rockford, daughter of Robert and Vera (Eversoll) Montayne. Graduate of West High School, class of 1956. After graduation she was employed at Prudential Insurance. United in Marriage to Stephen Lant McNames in March of 1959. She was the owner of Roberta's Antiques, a store located in Winnebago, from 1980-85, Victorian Village from 1985-90, and Pecatonica, IL from 1990-1997. She was an excellent saleswoman, who had a great eye for collectibles and antiques. Bobbie enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and taking bus trips to all the sites around Wisconsin. She was a volunteer at Circus World and St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo. Survived by her sons, Jeffrey L. and Stuart M. McNames; grandchildren, Lant and Logan McNames all of Baraboo, WI; siblings, Ronald (Mary) Montayne of Loves Park, Sally (Gene) Morocco of Rockford, Frances Edwards of Greenville, SC, Drusilla Hall of Rockford; brothers-in-law, Michael (Jane) McNames of Caledonia, Curtis McNames of Shirland; sister-in-law, Susan (Darrel) Spors of Durand numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Dorothy Weise of Janesville, WI. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. Celebration of Life on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford.
