Robert J. Liebhart III, 48, of Sycamore died on March 23, 2015. Born on October 29, 1966 in Waukegan. Son of Robert J. Liebhart Jr. and Cathy Allen. Attended Valley High School in Las Vegas, NV. Robert was an Owner/Operator of Night Owl Trucking, contracted with Landstar. He was proud of his safety record, earning recognition and awards. He sponsored Sprint Car Driver Tommy Sexton, and loved golf. He has an infectious personality, and boisterous laugh. Robert was loving and genuinely devoted to his family. Robert is survived by his father and step-mother, Linda and Robert Liebhart Jr.; mother and step-father, Cathy and Ron Allen; children, Felicia, Anthony, Robert, Richard, Brittany (Dave Mathias) and Breanna Liebhart; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Kris, Kim, Darrell, Richard, Denise, Randy, Shelly, Willie and Amanda; Uncles, Jim and David Liebhart; and former spouses, Cathy and Tracy. Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Aunt Sandra Looney and Uncle Gary Liebhart. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford. Memorial Visitation at 2 p.m. until the time of service.
