Robert "Bobby" L. Taylor, 74, of Rockford died on November 18, 2014 at 10:45 pm in OSF St. Anthony Hospital. He was born on February 5, 1940 in Naylor, MO; son of Thomas and Nellie (Pringle) Taylor. Served in the United States Army. United in marriage to Linda Hoffman on February 13, 1965 at Zion Lutheran Church in Rockford. Retired from Chrysler, where he worked over 30 years. Survived by his wife; daughter, Polly (Mike) Quinn of Roscoe; grandchildren, Lona (Adam) Garza, Kasandra DeBoard, Tabitha DeBoard, Kayla Quinn, Taylor Peters; great grandchild, Emery Garza; sisters, Daisy Moore of St. Louis, MO, and Dorothy Addams of Machesney Park. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Sean Michael Taylor and siblings, Bill Taylor and Meredith Taylor. Memorial gathering will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Robert's family.
