Robert B. Hendren, 68, of Roscoe died on December 21, 2017. Born on July 29, 1949 in Rockford, son of William and Margaret (Brankin) Hendren. Robert served in the United States Marine Corps. 3rd Marine Div. in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart. United in marriage to Patricia Warner on September 17, 1977 in Skokie. He retired from Dean Foods/Bay Valley Foods. Survived by his wife, Pat; children, Heather (Fiancé Aaron Von Rotz) Hendren of South Beloit, Jeffrey (Fiancée Jessica Mill) Hendren of Cherry Valley; granddaughter, Annalise Von Rotz; siblings, Bill Hendren of Machesney Park, Sue Hendren of Aurora, CO, Teri (Mike) Spillare of Machesney Park; former sister-in-law, Nancy Hendren of Milwaukee, WI; nieces, Melissa Hendren, Jennifer Hendren, Stephanie Hendren, Michaela Spillare; nephew, Greg Ehlers. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rick Hendren, sisters, Lori Hendren and Judi Ehlers. Memorial Visitation on Friday, December 29, 2017 4 pm to 6 pm at GPS Faith Community, 10714 N.
