Richard "Rocky" Allen Phillips, 84, of Rockford died on August 2, 2016 in his home, surrounded by his family. Born on September 25, 1931 in Milwaukee, son of Edward and Marie (MacNicki) Phillips. Served in the United States Navy. United in marriage to Maria Magdalena Romero on April 30, 1955. He was formerly employed as the general foreman for several rail road lines. Survived by his wife; children, Linda (James) Ondrus of Schaumburg, Richard (Cindy) Phillips of Caledonia, Adam (Juana) Phillips of Libertyville; grandchildren, Alicia, Christine, Tara, Amber, Jessica, Samantha, Alexis, Sabrina, Anna, Isabella; great-grandchildren, Alexzander, Nevaeh, Tristin, Brooklyn, Aiden, Chloe, Nathan, Madeline, Olivia, Richard Wyatt; sister, Kathleen Wilke, of Milwaukee, WI; numerous nieces, nephews and special friend, Ed Wendland, of WI.
