Richard Earl Parker, 35, of Rockford died on September 2, 2013 at 1:17 a.m. He was born on March 14, 1978 in Rockford, son of Roy and Susan (Moore) Parker. Formerly employed at Barnes International. Survived by his father, Roy Parker of Rockford; children, Jasie Anderson, Madison Parker and Jaxon Prosise-Parker; sister, Tanya (David) Meyer of Albuquerque, NM; grandmothers, Lorna Snap of Mt. Morris, Sybil Earnhart of Poteau, OK; niece Lora Meyer of New Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Susan Parker, grandfather Alton Parker and brother, Thomas Parker. A funeral service will be on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Rd. Rockford. With visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
