Raymond M. Tidemann, 86, of Rockford died on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 9:10 a.m. in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 2, 1925 in Chicago, son of Arthur and Elizabeth (Raben) Tidemann. He was united in marriage to Anna M. Engstrom on December 28, 1954 in Winnebago. He was formerly employed for 35 years as a Tool and Die Maker at National Lock. Survived by his daughters, Nancy Jewell, Cathy Tidemann ; grandson, Jeremy (Melissa) Jewell all of Rockford; sister Eunice Stalker of Modesto, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna, and brother-in-law, Eldon "Bud" Stalker. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
