Patricia Marie Bishop, 65, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends March 26, 2026. Born September 6, 1960 in Rockford; daughter of Harris James and Eileen Marie (Steffa) Hauch. Graduate of Auburn High School, class of 1979. She obtained her CNA Certification from Rock Valley College and was employed as a CNA at River Bluff Nursing Home and Park Strathmoor; prior to her employment as a CNA she worked at Counselor Scale. Patricia could be stubborn at times, but she truly loved her family and was dedicated to caring for them. Patty was selfless and giving. She never missed recognizing a single birthday or holiday. Her grandchildren and great-grandchild were her greatest joy in life. Patty made every effortto spend time with them and to make sure they knew how loved they were; making many memories with them over the years. Survived by her children, Steven (Destini) Bishop, Sara Bishop; grandchildren, Elijah (Sha'Kiya Hanson) Bishop Sr., Kieran Bishop, Owen Bishop, Aaden Putnam; great-grandchild, Elijah Bishop Jr.; and brother, John Hauch. Preceded in death by her infant brother, James Hauch, parents, Harris and Eileen Hauch and brother, Robert Allen Hauch. Cremation rites will be accorded.
