Pamela Sue Johnson, 65, of Rockford went to be with her Lord, and Savior on January 26, 2024. Born December 4, 1958 in Rockford; daughter of Andrew and Loretta (Schaffer) Musser. Graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 1977. Pam was united in marriage to Todd Johnson on May 24, 1980 in Rockford. She was a loving, devoted; wife, mother and grandmother and friend to many. Pam previously worked at the United States Post Office, Rockford Rescue Mission, United Parcel Service and at Berean Baptist Church and School, where she was also a member and participated in Joy Society and volunteered in the nursery; but her favorite role was as a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Her family was her world. Pam was a doting, loving caregiver. She was a thoughtful gift giver, who shopped throughout the year for perfect gifts. If anyone needed help with anything at all, Pam was first to jump in with assistance and advice. She was so excited to become a grandmother, and always incapable of keeping big secrets - if there was another on the way; she just had to share the news. More recently, she started crafting more and expressed herself by painting rocks for the garden Pam also liked going out to eat with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being the "eyes" for her sister Janet, who was Pam's "legs" on their resale shopping adventures around town, and visiting and spending time with her sister, Sharon; at her home. Her bright smile, loving hugs, and kindness toward all will be missed by her family; as she rejoices in the presence of the Lord and reunites with her family who went before her. Survived by husband, Todd; children, Lisa Saieva, Joshua (Tiffany) Johnson, Daniel (Ella) Johnson, Matthew (Meghan) Johnson; grandchildren, Gaby, Giuliana, Joey, Giada, Gino, Tobias, Leo, and baby #8, who is on the way!; siblings, Janet Stapleton, Sharon (Clark) Wetzel, Larry (Diane) Musser; brother-in-law, Roger Noll; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Janice (Dennis) Buerkle, Stacie Ruffcorn, and her dog, Buddy. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Linda Noll. Visitation on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church (formerly Cathedral Baptist Church), 5622 35th St. Rockford; followed by a funeral service at 6 pm.
