Otto Oliver White Jr., 87, of Loves Park died on June 14, 2016 in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born on November 28, 1929 in Rockford son of Otto Sr. and Goldine White. Graduate of East High School. United in Marriage to Geraldine Johnson on June 28. 1953 in Capron. Served in the United States Army in the Korean War. Otto was employed as a machinist at Woodward Governor for 23 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and Loves Park VFW Post 9759. Otto enjoyed his weekly Wednesday morning gatherings, where he met with other Korean War veterans. He was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed bowling and fishing. Survived by his wife, Geraldine; daughter, Valerie Kryder of Loves Park; granddaughter, Leslie (Chris) Vining of Rockford; and great-grandchildren, David and Leo Vining. Preceded in death by his parents, infant brother and brothers, Richard E. White, Edwin F. White and step-father Carl H. Larson. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
