Naomi Ruth Crabtree, 97, of Rockford; formerly of Oxford, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior November 10, 2021. Born May 6, 1924 in Franklin County, IL; daughter of Arthur and Reathel (Smith) Jones. She obtained her GED from York High School in Elmhurst. United in marriage to Al Logsdon on July 25, 1941 and Edward Crabtree on September 21, 1985. Naomi was a woman with a devout faith. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crochet. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church in Franklin, AR; where she shared her musical gifts of piano and organ playing with the congregation. Survived by her children; Leilani Ruth (Michael) Deppe of Rockford, Brian Alan (Diane) Logsdon of Rockford; step-children, Peggy (Howard) Outlaw of Aberdeen, MS, Sherry (Don) Smith of Brandy Station, VA, Tammy (Johnny) Hensley, Louisville, MS; grandchildren, Kim Ruth (Dan) Charles of Bentonville, AR, Ryan (Shannon) Logsdon of Belvidere; great-grandchildren, AJ Exner of Springfield, MO, Julianne Ruth (Joel) Vastbinder of Indianapolis, IN, Danielle Exner of Springfield, MO, Trey Logsdon of Belvidere; great-great grandchildren, Benton Aaron and Sawyer Joseph Exner; nephews Jerry Jones and Gene (Diane) Jones of Thompsonville, IL. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and brother James Jones. Memorial visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford, followed by a celebration of Naomi's life at 3 p.m. Chaplain Chuck Olson of Northern Illinois Hospice will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Naomi's memory to Northern Illinois Hospice. Private family interment in Chapel Hill Gardens in Oak Brook Terrace.
