Mishiya Lenea Rodriguez, 10, of Milwaukee, WI went to be with Jesus on February 18, 2025 from an asthma attack. Born on September 2, 2014 in in Naperville; daughter of Michael Rodriguez and Janaette Perez. She was in the 4th grade at Neeskara Elementary School in Milwaukee. Mishiya was a "dolphin" in the water. She loved tubing, swimming and enjoyed swimming with the dolphins on a vacation with her God Parents. When she wasn't in the pool or a lake, she could be found creating videos on Tik Tok, dancing and singing. She loved listening to gospel music, and the musical Frozen. She had many opportunities to travel with her grandmother to Chicago, Atlanta and Arizona and God Parents to Florida. Her bright smile, warm and loving personality will be missed by all who knew her. Survived by her parents; Beloved Gamma, Magdalena (Nathaniel Green) Rodriguez; God Parents, Dan and Michelle Holzer, and their children, Lexi (Nathan), Ben, Max, Ava, and Nana and Papa Jacobson; siblings, MiArie, Angel, Michael Jr.; Titi Rose (Raymond Cordova) Ortiz; Aunts and Uncles, Rosemarie Rodriguez, Anthony Ashford, Randy (Stephanie) Williams, Elam (Sandra Pinkston) Rodriguez, Tyrone Williams, Tyrees Rodriguez, Kenneth Smith Jr.; "Mama Cuz", Nyree Negron and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 3-5 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services; 4301 N. Main St. Rockford.
