Michael Craig Mason, 67, of Rockford went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 5, 2020; surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 29, 1952 in Marshalltown, IA; son of Ralph and Bonnie (Heckle - Fincham) Mason. Mike graduated from Marshalltown High School and obtained his Associate Degree in Electronics. He served in the United States Army. United in marriage to Barbara Dick on March 11, 1977 in Silvis. Formerly employed as an electronics technician (Motorola). Mike was a talented photographer and enjoyed drawing. He also had an RC Helicopter collection. Survived by his devoted wife, Barb; sons, Daniel, Shawn and Scott (Amy) Mason; grandchild, Mackenzie Mason; siblings, Teri Russell, Scot Mason, Laura (Frank) King; nephews and niece, Jeremy (Mishelle) McCammont, Cherie McCammont, Mason Barlow; and special dog, Brandy. Preceded in death by his parents. Memorial visitation, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Rock Church, 6732 Harrison Ave, Rockford, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family.
