Mary Louise Nelson, 78, of Rockford, formerly of the Chana area; died August 2, 2018. Born on September 12, 1939 in Deshler, NE. Daughter of Robert and Freida (Meyer) Koch. Mary retired from Rochelle Community Hospital, where she was employed as a Lab Supervisor. She leaves behind her friend, Karen Yocum; former coworkers from the hospital; niece, Mary Schutz; and nephew, Michael Trindle. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Erik Nelson; sister, Karen Ann Trindle; and brother, Robert Koch. Private interment in River View Cemetery, Oregon.
