Mary Lou Hunt, of Rockford, IL, went home to Heaven the morning of May
6, 2021. Born in Tennessee, the middle daughter of Charles and Martha
Bell. She met her husband GW Hunt and moved to Rockford in the early
50's. Both employed at Amerock Corp. Her loving husband preceded her to
heaven. She has 4 Children, Billy Wayne, Donald Ray (Sandra spouse),
Charles Andrew and daughter Patricia Sue (Jeffry spouse) Short.
Grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Michael, Nicholas, David, Jeffrey, Tammy,
Krista, Charlie, Skylar, Jacob, Cody, Jessica, Christopher, Patrick and Nick.
Her loving BIL still with us Robert Hunt. Great Grandchildren, Felicity,
Breanna, Jayla, Mackinzie, Owen, Harper, Hazel, Holland, Nolan, Christian.
Many nieces and nephews. And Brody GG Grandchild to come. She was a
Mom and Mama sent from heaven that blessed her family with love and
values. Never shy on big get togethers with food, love, and laughter.
Outstanding cook and loved to garden. Was shooting free throws until she
was 85, with her Grandsons Charlie and Skyler. Her grandchildren Felicity
and Breanna loved to tease her and make her laugh. She loved the Lord
Jesus and was looking forward to being in heaven with Our Lord, her loving
husband and family, and her favorite puppy Ruggie. In lieu of flowers, please plant a flower in memory of Mary Lou.
