Mary Ann Foreman, 54 of Machesney Park died on October 1, 2011 at 10:00pm. Mary Ann was born in Loves Park, daughter of E.B. and Lillian Foreman. Attended Harlem High School. She worked at Lifetouch for 13 years and she worked for Family Dollar for 9 years until she took ill. Mary loved to cook and eat too! She loved to decorate and liked watch the old school sitcoms: Sanford and Son, Good Times, All in the Family; and she never missed The Young and the Restless. Mary also loved to collect angels. She will be remembered as a very loving and strong woman. She loved her family. Survived by her children, Rashawn Foreman and Terrance Foreman both of Machesney Park, Fiance', Harold Robinson of Machesney Park, siblings, Edward (Alona) Foreman of Houston, TX, Larry Foreman of Fulton,Georgia, Donell (Diane) Foreman of Rockford, Barbara Getter of Rockford, Lora Foreman of Rockford; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and special friends, Collette Purifoy, Ruby Williams, Linda Box, Regina McBride, Conswello Purifoy,Gladys Wilson and Kim Hitchcock. Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Dashawna Foreman and niece LaZaria Banks. A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 2 pm at Christian Union Full Gospel Baptist Church 1705 Kilburn Ave. Rockford, with Pastor Robert Rucker officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
