Mary Lou Finch, 89 of Pecatonica died on April 8, 2018 at Alden Debes in Rockford. Born on April 11, 1928 in Oregon, daughter of Laurence and Margaret (Schoeller) Geroux. Mary Lou enjoyed travelling up north to Mackinac Island and the trips she went on with her long-time companion, Gordy to Acapulco, Mexico. She was an avid reader and loved her cats, Scooter and Angel. She was employed as a waitress throughout her career at Michael's, Terrazino's Restaurant and D'Agostinos. Survived by her sons, Chuck Finch of Pecatonica, Steven (Sandy) Finch of Loves Park; grandchildren, Michelle Leathers, Charles G. (fiancée Violaine) Finch, Heather (Shauna) Finch, Timothy Finch, Julie (Jeremy) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Mack, Honor, Nickolas; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; sisters, Christine Marsh, Lori Lee (Warren "Doug") Jarman; numerous nieces and nephews; and wonderful roommate Willie Mae Pride. receded in death by her parents, husband Charles; and significant other, Gordon Berry. Mary Lou's family is thankful for the wonderful care provided by Alden Debes and Agrace Hospice; including special nurses Sherry, Yvonne and Sarah from Agrace.
