Marlene Lorraine (Bergevin) Morris, 83, of Rockford passed away on March 22, 2016 in the home of her daughter in Machesney Park, following an extended illness. Marlene was born on March 22, 1933 in Waukegan, daughter of Lorey and Lydia Bergevin. Marlene married Tennes Morris on August 5, 1950 in Zion. Survived by her husband of 65 years, Tennes of Rockford; sons, Tennes (Carol) Morris Jr. of Rockford, Joseph (Carmen) Morris of Columbus, GA; daughters, Marie (Larry) Vyborny of Machesney Park, Tammy (Joe) Thompson of Rockford; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Karl Smith, Alven Smith, Michael Smith and Ed Smith. Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Graveside Funeral Service on March 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park, 6202 Charles St. Rockford. Rev. Joe Barefield will officiate.
