Mark R. Fiene, 62, died on July 30, 2017 at his home in
Poplar Grove, IL surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Bonvolanta) Fiene, daughters Melissa Fiene-Helgesen (Pete) and Erin Pedersen (Jason), son Justin Fiene (Shannon Farrell), grandchildren Charles, Jack, and Theodore Helgesen, Marie,
Kent, and James Pedersen, and Callum Fiene, mother Elaine (Bauer) Fiene, brothers Doug Fiene (Carol), Michael Fiene, James Fiene, Kurt Fiene, sisters Deborah Reynolds (Wayne) and Pam Dubas (John), numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles R. Fiene. Mark was a master craftsman who enjoyed making furniture for his family and an avid hobbyist whose interests included studying American war history, hunting, and numismatics.
Mark was proud to do things on his terms and so proud of his family; he will be greatly missed. A celebration of life service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elmhurst, IL at 1pm on September 3, 2017.
