Lowell A. Gazouski, 74, of Rockford and formerly of Cherry Valley, died on March 10, 2014 at 2:20 a.m. in his home. Born on March 4, 1940 in Rockford, son of John and Loretta (Peterson) Gazouski. Lowell was formerly employed as a Patrolman for the Cherry Valley Police Department. United in marriage to Marsha Walters on March 17, 1995. Survived by his wife; children, Craig Gazouski, Kimberly Gazouski, Curt (Jill) Gazouski; step-children, William Brasher, Christina Barte; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren all of Rockford; siblings, Ronald (Linda Brown) Gasoske, Carol (Ken) Gerbode, Robert (Mary) Gasoske; and special nephew Austin Richards. Preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Raymond Gazouski, Cynthia Gazouski, Gale Gazouski, Francis Groth; and son, Kevin Gazouski. Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Ave. Rockford, visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 am. Additional visitation on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
