Lorraine Nancy De Guardi, 79, of Poplar Grove died on January 5, 2013 at 11:30 p.m. She was born on November 29, 1933 in Chicago, daughter of Floyd and Lillian (Kowalski) Peterson. She was the most loving mother and grandmother. She warmly accepted everyone that she met into her heart, never passing judgement. Lorraine has joy for life in all things big and small. Survived by her daughters, Lori De Guardi of Poplar Grove, Adrienne (Richard) Wack of Poplar Grove, Cynthia (Chris) Larsen of Buffalo Grove; grandchildren, Brian Wack, Jake Forney, Laura Larsen, Jason Wack. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Kenneth Peterson. Private services will be held.
