Lonza James Watson, 85, of Rockford died on March 22, 2016 in Neighbor's Rehabilitation Center. Born on August 1, 1930 in Harrison, son of Harry and Euetta (Hade) Watson. United in marriage to Rose Godoy on August 22, 1953 in Rockford. Lonza loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and camping and watching the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. Survived by his wife, Rose; sons, Tom (Shelley) of Rockford, Ken (Lisa) of Winnebago, Steve (Sharon) of Winnebago, Jim (Tonya) Watson of Rockford; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sister. Preceded in death by his parents, and nine siblings. Private family services will be held.
