Lois "Sis" Ann Wiggs, 99, of Rockford died August 11, 2022. Born May 19, 1923 in Mt. Morris; daughter of Daniel and Josephine (Illi) Minnick. Lois attended Roosevelt Junior High School. United in marriage to Virgil Warren Wiggs on January 9, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church. In her younger years, Lois enjoyed hunting down bargains at garage sales. She competed in roller skating competitions at the Ing Skating Palace. Lois was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. Lois was a loving and giving woman, who donated frequently to charities that were important to her. She loved her family with all her heart and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always put her family first. Survived by children; Donald (Linda), Monte (Vern) Bruce (Laura) Wiggs; grandchildren, D'Lynn (Ben) Barr, Shannon (Andy) McNabb, Melinda Wiggs, Jeremy (Treasure) Wiggs, Duska Stine, Harley Wiggs; great-grandchildren; Caden, Ahnika, Tylar, McKenzie, Jordyn, Nathan, Emma, Cole, Richie, Mikaeleigh, Michael, Cadoc, Kael, Ryker, Gage, Kylee; brother, Donald Minnick; special nieces, Patty Huff, Jodi Vernia; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Willis, Alton, Daniel Minnick, Catherine Carlston, Clayton, Robert, Roy and Jimmy Minnick. Memorial Service on August 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Service, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford. Pastor Julane Nease will officate.
