Lindell Ray Morrisett, 71, of Rockford went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 28, 2016. Born on October 21, 1945 in Rector, AR; son of Richard and Mildred (Stone) Morrisett. United in Marriage to Mary Midkiff on September 4, 1969 in Kennett, MO. Lindell served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He was employed at CamCar Textron for almost 40 years. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. Lindell always had a hug and a smile for everyone he met. Attended Rockford United Church. Survived by his wife, Mary; children, Tommy Morrisett, Vicky (James) Wear; grandchildren, Katelyn Wear and Michael Morrisett all of Rockford; siblings, Jerry (Vaudine) Morrisett of Rockford, Faye (Robert) Prince of Rector, AR, Bonnie Smith of Duncan, OK, Randy (Billie) Morrisett, of Marmaduke, AR; sister-in-laws, Wanda Morrisett of Rector, AR, Pauline Morrisett of Lafe, AR; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Doug and Barney Morrisett. Funeral Service on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Rockford United Church, 3126 Marshall Street. Pastor Dr. Wayne Hodge will officiate. Visitation at 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lindell's family. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
