Linda D. Minnick, 75, of Rockford died on December 29, 2023. Born December 21, 1948 in Rockford; daughter of William Michael and Elizabeth Belle (Brown) Faherty. United in marriage to Donald W. Minnick on September 16, 2000 in Rockford. Linda retired from Wesley Willows, where she was employed as a Housekeeper. She was an awesome mom and grandma. Survived by her son; Robert (Carrie) Scharwath; grandchildren, Christian and Hailey Scharwath; siblings, Bob (Elaine) Faherty, Mike Faherty, Pat Marlow, Joan Thayer; sister-in-law, Nancy Faherty; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Fern Mitchell; brothers, Ed Faherty, Bill and Betsy Faherty, Jim and Sandy Faherty; sister-in-law, DeDee Faherty, and brothers-in-law, Glen Marlow, Roy Thayer. Visitation on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services; 4301 N. Main St. Rockford, followed by a funeral service at 1 pm.
