Linda Joyce Frer, 60, of Rockford died on May 5, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 10, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of Daniel and Bonnie (Kinchella) Johnson. United in marriage to Terry Frer on January 14, 1977 in Chicago. Linda was a home maker and was devoted to her family. Survived by her husband, Terry; children, Christopher (Karla) Frer of Davis, Terri Lynn (Willy Henderson) Frer of Rockford; grandchildren, Nikolas, Alexis, Alesha, Brianna, Alana, Austin, Emily, Mijanae, Paris and Jasmia; sisters Bonnie Pauly, Jessica (Roy) Johnson-James, Lisa Johnson all of Maryland; nephew Daniel James; along with extended family and a circle of friends. Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Linda's family is grateful to her caregiver, Taylor and Tonia from Journey Care Hospice for their loving care.
