Lillian Ann Niezgodzki, 75, of Caledonia died on July 17, 2017 in Maple Crest Care Center, Belvidere. Born on October 5, 1941 in Elgin, daughter of Edgar and Flora (Garvin) Frey. Graduate Hampshire High School. United in Marriage to Joseph Niezgodzki on December 16, 1978. Lillian worked as a waitress at several area restaurants and in her retirement at the Walmart in Belvidere. She enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling to games near and far. Lillian was a devoted wife; beloved mother, and caring grandmother. Her family was truly the most important part of her life. Survived by husband, Joseph; children, LynnAnn Fillmore of DeKalb, Scott Fillmore of Marengo, Christopher Fillmore of DeKalb, Timothy Fillmore of Marengo, James Fillmore of Marengo, Matthew (Laura) Niezgodzki of Poplar Grove; Mary (Jeremy) Hopper of Rockford; grandchildren, Aaron, Alyssa, Amber, Allyson, Jonathan, Stephen, Darlene, Mackenzie, Ellie, Austin, Hailey; Joe's extended family, including his children and grandchildren; siblings, Evert Frey of Lakeland, FL, Edward Frey of St. Petersburg, FL, Flora Reingardt of Rockford, Delores Bryant of Asheboro, NC, Richard (Marie) Frey of South Elgin. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her infant daughter, Amanda Fillmore; infant granddaughter, Amanda Fillmore; siblings, William Hanson, Frances Brown, Harold Frey, Charles Frey and David Frey.
