Mr. Leo J. Hartman, 54 of Rockford, Illinois died February 29th at his residence.
Mr. Hartman was born on January 26, 1959 in Sierra Madre, CA, the son of Marilyn Pavlak and the late Jack Hartman and step-father Edward Pavlak. Leo graduated from Harlem High School in 1977 and attended Illinois State University. He was previously employed as a manager at Service Supply Company, Inc. for many years. Leo enjoyed the outdoors, camping, boating and waterskiing. Most recently Leo spent much of his time caring for his elderly parents. Leo attended Broadway Covenant Church.
Leos' life will be celebrated at a funeral mass at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Loves Park, Illinois on March 6th, 2012 at 10am. Leo is survived by many loving family members including his parents Marilyn and Edward Pavlak, former wife Kathy Hartman, his beloved children Stephanie and Jake Hartman and Nick Cathy, siblings Greg (Melody) Hartman, Matt (Diane) Hartman, Mary Galan, Dawn Adams (Wendell) and Vickie Voyles (Matt). He was predeceased by his father Jack Hartman and brother Jeff Hartman.
