Leland Scace went to be with his Savior December 8, 2015, surrounded by his family. Born in Freeport, to Marlow Scace and Hazel (Judd) Roberts. Lee was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. In his final years, his two best friends were his dogs, Lady and Archie. He was a hardworking man and retired from Zenith Cutter in the late '90's where he spent most of his life as a heat treater. His many hobbies included woodworking, traveling, coin collecting, and playing the organ. He absolutely loved watching western movies. He leaves behind his sister, Cindy Shepherd; son, Joel (Belinda) Scace; daughter, Lee Ann (Chris) Fonseca; daughter-in-law, Terry Scace; grandsons, Aaron Scace, Christopher, Chance, Cody and Cyle Fonseca; granddaughters, Callie Fonseca, Fawn and Niki Scace; 14 great-grandchildren; many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dawn and son, Denny. Graveside funeral service Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren. Rev. James McClenthen will officiate.
