LaVone Eva Robinson, 82, of Rockford, died on May 4, 2013 in her home. She was born June 8, 1930 in Rockford, daughter of Harry and Eva (Peterson) Wernberg. United in marriage to David Lee Robinson Sr. LaVone graduated from the Swedish American Hospital nursing program in 1951 and was employed at Sherman Hospital in Elgin prior to her retirement. Survived by her children; Cheri (Ken) Loewecke, David Robinson Jr; grandchildren Linnea (Steve) Ferguson, Janelle (Rusty) Bray, Greg Granquist, Karli Loewecke, Kevin and Jonathon Robinson; great grandchildren, Tyler, Elijah, Branden, Keegan Bray, Steven Ferguson; brother Dwight (Lola) Wernberg. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service will be held on May 18 at 12:00 at Our Master's United Methodist Church of 5973 Darlene Dr, Rockford.
