Krystyna Emilia Sawras, 72, died on August 26, 2023. Born July 25, 1951 in Drezdenko, Poland. Attended school in Poznań. United in marriage to Piotr Sawras on November 11, 1988 in Lake Tahoe, NV. Krystyna was a retired Physical & Massage Therapist and Art Conservator. Survived by husband, Piotr; children, Emilia Zahniser, Paul Sawras, Justyna Sawras; granddaughter, Maya Zahniser; siblings, Witold Winnicki, Tadeusz Winnicki; best-friend, Dzidka Filutu; dog, Junia and cat, Mango. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Irena Pawlik and dog, Hootie. In her free time, she enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies and television shows, playing solitaire, numerology, and crossword puzzles. She traveled Europe in her youth, running track, and especially enjoyed her home country, Poland and Italy. A lover of motherhood, art, education and music, Krystyna was resilient and an incredibly hard worker. She taught herself a variety of home improvement skills while remodeling her home in their younger years including flooring, painting, and installing a pond in their back yard.
