KENNETH L. WARD, 59 BELOIT, Wis. - Kenneth L. Ward 59, of Beloit passed on peacefully, Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, in his home. Born March 2, 1951, in Pocahontas, Ark., son of Max R. and Pauline Ward of Loves Park, Ill. Survivors include parents, Max and Pauline; children, Kimberly Johnson of Rockford, Ill., Kendra Ward of Machesney Park, Ill., Amanda Ward and Jacob Ward, both of Beloit; brothers, Tom (Deanna) Ward of Rockton, Ill., and Paul (Cindy) Ward of Rockford; sisters, Linda Ward of Loves Park, Carol (Riley) Thurber of Summerfield, Fla., and Pam (George) Jameson of Loves Park; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Doug and Rose Bruckner of Beloit; and special canine companion, "Scooby". Memorial service from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Souls Harbour Church, 2802 11th St., Rockford, with the Rev. Joseph Chastain officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
