Kenneth "Doug" D. Fell, 58, of Rockford died on Saturday at SwedishAmerican Hospital at 3:43 p.m. He was born on April 15, 1954 in Rockford, son of Kenneth and Ruth (Kingsbury) Fell. Doug was employed for over 30 years at Anderson Packaging as a Mechanic. United in Marriage on October 7, 2006 in Rockford to Christine "Autumn" Highfill. Doug was an accomplished cook and shared his skills with his family by crafting wood fired pizzas in the oven that he built in his back yard. His recipes for wine, mead and homemade candies will be forever treasured by his family. Member of Earth Traditions Community. Survived by his wife, Autumn; daughters, Samantha Fell, Kade (Rob) Fell, all of Rockford; step-children, Patrick (Emma) Sciortino, Angel Sciortino, both of Madison; mother, Ruth Fell of Rockford; sisters, Diane Harris of Texas, Debra Morlen of Rockford, Dawn (Rick) Reed of Texas, Denise (Dan) Moser of Rockford, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Darcy. Per Doug's request, private services will be held. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.
