Katrina "Katie" Jennice Johnson, 42, of Rockford went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2012. Born May 8, 1970 to Kenny and Anne (Morrison) Johnson. Katie had a heart of gold, she was always thinking of her family and friends and her unexpected passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Survived by her mother, Anne (Arnie) Doering; grandmother, Betty Morrison; sisters, Regina Johnson, Sabrina (Ward) Metheny; nephew, Michael; nieces, Tiffany, Destiny, Mariah, Savannah; and great-nephew, Lucian. Preceded in death by her father and sister, Lori Johnson Sears. A Celebration of Katie's life will be on May 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Assembly of God, 4242 West Riverside Blvd. Rockford.
